Custom Cedar Canoes
Using our signature Duluth Canoe form, the Amik, we will build you a one of a kind wood canvas canoe. Designed for Minnesota’s backwaters, the Amik is stable and stout. It is fit for a solo paddler with gear for a longer trip, or two paddlers with gear for a weekend trip. The Amik is modeled after Lloyd E. Rehbein’s sportsman canoes. Mr. Rehbein built canoes in Duluth from the 1930's until the 60's.

Instructions for care
Refinishing an oiled grip: You can apply a coat of oil. Tung oil is best, but boiled linseed oil, olive or walnut oil, or even car wax will do.
